The story

Monroe Township's Planning Board has a plan for 338 townhomes on its October 5 agenda. The applicant, Traditions at Scotland Run LLC, is asking for preliminary approval to split the land into lots. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and is also streamed live on the township's YouTube channel.

All 338 homes are townhomes, according to the agenda. The plan also includes a 3,920 square foot clubhouse and eleven lots kept as open space. The site is at Glassboro-Williamstown Road and Franklinville-Turnersville Road, listed on the tax map as Block 14901, Lots 22, 23, 36 through 39 and 42, in the MU-AR zoning district.

The agenda lists the application for a hearing, not a decision. The board may approve it, ask for changes, or move it to a later meeting, and the plan can change before it is final.

An application is not an approval. The counts come from the board's agenda and can change at the hearing. Written by Justin Kelly, NJ Real Estate Broker-Salesperson, from the Monroe Township Planning Board meeting agenda.
